Erynoq Systems Private Limited ("Erynoq", "we", "us") operates www.erynoq.store. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights you hold as a Data Principal.

1. Information We Collect

• Identity & contact data — name, email, phone number and delivery address you provide at checkout.
• Order data — items purchased, order value, coupon usage and order history.
• Payment data — UPI transactions are processed by our payment gateway. We receive only a transaction reference and status; we never see or store your UPI PIN, bank credentials or full card details.
• Technical data — device, browser, IP address and pages visited, collected via cookies and Google Analytics 4 for aggregate insights.

2. Purpose of Processing

We process your data only for specified, lawful purposes: to fulfil and deliver your orders, process payments and refunds, send transactional emails (order, payment and shipping updates), respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Consent

By placing an order or submitting a form, you provide consent for the processing described here. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to support@erynoq.store, after which we will stop processing your data except where retention is required by law.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

• Logistics partners — to deliver your order (name, address, phone).
• Payment gateway — to process UPI payments and refunds.
• Legal authorities — where required by applicable law or valid legal process.

Each partner is permitted to use your data only for the service they perform for us.

5. Data Retention

We retain order and invoice records for the period mandated by Indian tax and accounting law (currently up to 8 years). Marketing-related data is retained only while your consent is active.

6. Security

Our site is served over HTTPS/SSL. Access to personal data is restricted, and payment information is handled entirely by the gateway in line with RBI guidelines. While we apply reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission over the internet is fully secure.

7. Your Rights (DPDP Act)

• Right to access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed.
• Right to correction and erasure of inaccurate or unnecessary data.
• Right to grievance redressal (see below).
• Right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the cart and checkout, and analytics cookies (GA4) to understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly.

9. Children

Our store is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Grievance Officer

We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, as required under applicable law.
